CLOUD OFFERS MANY ADVANTAGES
SAP SuccessFactors HXM
We work with our clients to implement effective HR processes, modern SAP SuccessFactors HXM (Human Experience Management) and partner solutions. Our primary goal is to enable our customers during the digital transformation by contributing our skills and continuously transferring knowledge to the customer organisation.
Knowledge and quality are key. This is why our consultants are also certified for SAP HCM and SuccessFactors solutions and update their certifications twice a year based on SAP's requirements.
Nowadays, customers' starting points and needs for digital transformations are very diverse. There are different paths and approaches:
Talent Hybrid
For example, you have a classic SAP HCM system for master data and require simple integration and utilisation of SuccessFactors Talent Management solutions, whereby SAP HCM remains the leading system for master data for the time being.
Core Hybrid
You want to manage HR master data and organisational data in Employee Central and, if necessary, move the data, including talent management, completely to the cloud. However, payroll accounting and recurring activities as well as time management will continue to be carried out in SAP HCM for the time being.
Full cloud
You migrate the entire SAP HCM directly in the cloud and thus completely replace SAP HCM.
There are different roadmaps and transformation scenarios depending on requirements. Each customer is also unique in the way it is organised. The actual transformation process also varies from company to company.
Thanks to our many years of experience in classic SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors HXM, we are able to recognise these diverse initial customer situations and determine the appropriate roadmap together with our customers.
We will be happy to show you the different approaches using preconfigured Geconex instances based on SAP best practice solutions and scenarios.
SAP Best Practices Solutions
Best practice solutions from SAP make it possible to evaluate and implement SuccessFactors modules in the shortest possible time. Using preconfigured solutions, the time required for internal and external resources is drastically reduced in a very efficient way, cutting implementation costs by up to 80%!
The SAP Best Practice solutions can be adapted (configured) to the requirements of each organisation and localised if necessary. So-called configuration workbooks are used for such customisations. These configuration workbooks are completed in co-operation with Geconex during a few iteractive workshops. The defined configurations can then be made and the solutions integrated into existing environments. It makes no difference whether Talent Hybrid with SAP HCM as the basis for HR administration, integrated with Employee Central or connected to a non-SAP-based legacy system. We analyse and clarify together which options are suitable and which available best practice solutions make sense. In doing so, we keep an eye on the current and future architecture.
Recruiting
SAP SF Recruiting (REC) is the solution for the entire applicant management process: from internal authorisation for a job advertisement, to posting the advertisement on various job portals such as jobs.ch or Linkedin, selecting and inviting suitable applicants, preparing the offer and finally hiring.
An applicant portal and an agency portal are available for this purpose, which applicants can use to enter their data and upload CVs/documents. For the selection of suitable candidates, assessments can be made, interviews scheduled and acceptances and rejections managed. The respective statuses are managed in the SAP SF Recruiting Toll pipeline. Reports and dashboards are available as standard for monitoring purposes. In addition, all process steps are workflow-controlled through to the deletion of applicant data in accordance with data protection and compliance requirements. SAP SF Recruiting integrates seamlessly with SAP SF Onboarding and EC or can be integrated with SAP HCM or other HR systems.
Onboarding
SAP SF Onboarding (ONB) is the solution to make it easier for employees, HR and line managers to start a new job. An onboarding portal is available for this purpose, which new employees can use to enter all relevant data such as account details, AHV number, emergency contact details, etc. Employees can also be provided with documents and regulations relevant to their employment, such as work and expense regulations, privacy policy, etc., in a workflow-controlled manner and electronic signatures can be requested if necessary. Furthermore, the provision of work tools and infrastructure is requested, such as the allocation of electronic access rights, access authorisations, badge creation, etc. SAP SF Onboarding also plays a central role in the compilation of induction programmes, e.g. for the first day of work, the completion of induction training, compliance courses, etc.
SAP SF Onboarding integrates seamlessly with SAP SF Recruiting, EC or it can be integrated with SAP HCM or other HR systems.
Employee Central
SAP SF Employee Central (EC) is the leading next generation solution for HR processes. The world of work is changing fundamentally and this also places new demands on HR functions. New forms of collaboration are gaining ground and HR processes are becoming increasingly important as a result. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is the core of your HR system, which controls all HR processes in the company. It enables master data management, time management, administration of learners or external resources and much more. SAP SF Employee Central also offers clear access to relevant information, employee and manager self-services, intuitive approval processes and can be seamlessly integrated with the SF Talent modules and existing payroll accounting (locally on premise or in the cloud). This means that the entire hire-to-retire process can be implemented in SuccessFactors.
Compensation and Variable Pay
Salary calculations, salary increases and bonus payments are sensitive HR processes by definition. Different interests must always be taken into account, such as cost budget compliance, appropriate budget distribution between departments/areas and fair employee remuneration.
SAP SF Compensation (COMP) and Variable Pay (VP) are two combinable compensation management solutions for calculating fixed salary and variable salary components. Calculations are based on available budgets and other criteria such as appraisal results, level of training, experience, etc. In relation to the specified budget, additional criteria can be used to redistribute or override the calculated wage totals. The organisation is offered a maximum degree of flexibility in order to meet the requirements of modern disposition management. At the same time, maximum transparency is provided for employees, managers and division heads. In addition, automated monitoring allows available payroll budgets to be checked on an ongoing basis.
Performance and Goals
SAP SF Performance and Goals (P&G) is the solution for the company-wide, transparent target agreement and assessment process. The solution enables the classic top-down allocation of corporate objectives and the measurement of the degree of achievement of these objectives at employee, team, department or project team/agile team level. In addition to company targets, general and individual competences as well as individual targets per employee can also be included in the target agreement. The entire target agreement and appraisal process is workflow-driven, meeting notes can be recorded and the signing of an appraisal can be requested using an electronic signature. In addition, appraisals can be carried out either by individual persons, such as line managers, or by several departments as part of a 360° appraisal. The SAP SF Performance and Goals solution also includes the option of maintaining an individual development plan for each employee.
The SAP SF Performance and Goals solution integrates seamlessly with SAP SF Compensation Management, EC and Learning or it can be integrated with SAP HCM or other HR systems.
Learning Management
Succession and Development
SAP SF Succession and Development (S&D) is the solution to support companies in responsible succession planning so that strategically important positions can be quickly filled with a suitable internal successor if required. Defined positions with risk factors can be assessed and potential internal successors defined and evaluated. The company situation can be presented in the form of a succession organisation plan, taking potential internal successors into account. The succession organisation plan can also be used to show the shift in risks if potential successors move into strategically important positions and leave gaps in their own knowledge. This enables holistic succession planning across an organisation's entire network of knowledge carriers.
The entire succession planning process is rounded off with a component for classifying the experience, skills and qualifications of potential successors and a component for recurring calibration meetings: suitable people in the company assess the respective situation of the succession organisation plan in order to be able to take measures in good time.
The SAP SF Succession and Development solution integrates seamlessly with SAP SF EC or it can be integrated with SAP HCM or other HR systems.
Learning Management
SAP SF Learning Management (LMS) is the leading next-generation solution for learning management: e-learning, classroom courses, curriculums, quiz exams, assessments and blended learning programmes can be provided via a platform and assigned to affected employees on a rule-based or individual basis. If required, employees can also register for courses themselves via the learning portal. External content in all common formats such as SCORM, PowerPoint etc. can also be connected and offered in the LMS platform. To monitor course implementation, the statuses can be made available to authorised areas such as line managers, HR and compliance. Furthermore, the completion of courses or the passing of an exam can be linked to qualifications.
