Compliance has become considerably more important in recent years. This is reflected in the constant increase in regulatory requirements and legal adjustments (ICS, DSG/GDPR, etc.). In addition, as is well known, digital development has also increased rapidly in recent years (networking of users, processes, increase in data flows, etc.)

These two trends - increase in compliance requirements & digitalization - require responsible handling of data. It also means that compliance has a direct impact on IT systems, applications and data processing and new functionalities must be covered (separate data storage for legal entities, data retention, consent management, etc.).
